I like the sunsets here. Well come to think about it, I’ve never lived somewhere I didn’t like the sunsets. ‘Guess that means I like sunsets, generally speaking.
I like how sometimes one is wildly different from the next and sometimes its only a dab of color or a cloud differentiating one night’s sunset to the next, and I like how right after it disappears below the horizon someone a thousand miles away just turned a head to watch the sunset begin to mark the end of another day.
Yup, a chip off the old block that one is!
Dave,
It has been way too long man. How are things going? I have been following your blog and it keeps me inspired every time I look at it. My plan is still to be teaching in the Alaskan bush this fall. I was offered the job that Candance and Gavin vacated however I was unable to accept it due to the health of my father. Unfortunately he passed away in October (right after I was offered that job). So I know that I made the right decision and that I was blessed with a few more precious weeks with my dad. But now that all of that is over with I am excited to realize my dream of being an Alaskan teacher. Anyway dude, I certainly hope and pray that all is well with you and I will hopefully speak with you soon.
Your friend,
Josh
