Hmm.
Yes! If the standard of “doing well” drops, then everyone’s on the same page. The economy’s well being is judged from how much growth it has…but all growth must stop sometime.
same with death :P wtf are we going to do when the world is so heavily populated people that people are dying due to lack of privacy or whatever..
Yeah–maybe that’s what was actually on my mind, all growth must stop sometime.
I wonder when, and how, folks will begin to feel successful by some scale aside of growth and consumption?
Maybe the “civilized” world population should just go back to kindergarten and learn some contentedness: take naps, eat fruit and crackers, and play duck duck goose.
